Obituary of Ann Nadia Goertz
With heavy hearts, the family of Ann Goertz share the sad news of her passing on October 30, 2020 after a year long courageous battle with Leukemia.
Ann was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Kwochka; son Todd Goertz; brothers Peter Kwochka and Steve Kwochka; and brothers-in-law Howard Osman and Eddie Adasci.
Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband Floyd; daughter Jackie (Trevor) Rich; daughter-in-law Diane Rutten Goertz; grandchildren Jonathon Rich (Hazel) and Rachelle Rich (Shawn), Amanda Moser (Darin), Sara Reiss (Cory); five great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters: John (Myrtle) Kwochka, Bill (Betty) Kwochka, Olga Osman, Helen (Marvin) Reiser, Dorothy Adasci, and Laura (Don) De Jong; sister-in-law Gwen Kwochka; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was born on the family farm near Hume, Saskatchewan, at the age of 16 she moved to Regina, where she attended business school and had various jobs, the longest of which was at Sherwood Credit Union. Ann married Floyd Goertz in 1958 and they resided in Regina. They enjoyed raising the family, and later enjoyed the grandchildren & great-grandchildren, church functions, and many sunny holidays with friends and family. Palm Springs was one of her favorite destinations.
A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Ave E, Regina, SK.
Due to the Pandemic, attendance is limited. Having completed registration of close family and friends, there are a number of available seats. Please register by calling the Regina Apostolic Church at (306) 789-1234. For those not able to attend, a livestream can be viewed at youtu.be/tY6_FCOrsPE.
