Obituary for Annie E. Thomas
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Elizabeth Thomas (Herman) on September 19, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Thomas (2013). Annie will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Mary and the late Steve Kovacs, Margaret and the late Adhemar Versnick, the late Joseph Herman and his wife Blanche as well as her brother-in-law Gerald (Betty) Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and John Herman and brothers Louie and John. She will be missed deeply as Aunt Annie to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends. Wallaceburg residents will remember the beautiful flowers, vegetables and fruit preserves that she sold at her greenhouse and road side stand on Dufferin Ave. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. A private family service with burial at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg will follow.
