HAMLIN, Anne
With sad hearts and loving memories, we share that Anne Hamlin, 92, of Saskatoon passed away September 24, 2020. Anne was born in 1928 to Peter and Polly Matwiy in Buchanan. She married Art Hamlin in 1948 and raised seven children while gardening, farming and assisting in Art’s business. Anne moved to Saskatoon in 1994 and was proud to contribute her time to numerous volunteer positions. She was an avid Blue Jays and curling fan and loved a good card game, as well as travel with family and friends. Anne will be dearly missed by her seven children, Roland (Faye), Shirley (Brian), Herb (Deb), Debbie (Willy), Judy, Joanne (Tom) and Pam (Steve); 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind siblings Olive, Joe, Phyllis, Mae, Mike; and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Art; and siblings John, Doris and Stephie. Due to COVID restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 and conducted by Rev. Laura Fouhse. A Celebration of Life and Interment in Canora, SK will take place in 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CNIB.
