Anne M. Chase
1932-2020
The death of Anne Marie Chase of Vanderhoof, BC and formerly of Upper
Kent, NB occurred on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Vanderhoof, BC. Anne was
born on February 18, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Leo and
Josephine (Denny) Hall. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Ray
Chase; 1 son, Bruce; 5 siblings, Albert Hall, Vernon Hall, Patrick
Hall, Juanita McMann and Mary-Lou Kinney.
Anne is survived by 2 sons, Malcolm Chase (Carol) and Brian Chase
(Denyse); 3 grandchildren, Cole, Rachel and Daryl; 2 great
grandchildren, Alexandria and Caleb; 4 siblings, Rose Ouellette (Bud),
Donald Hall (Madeline), Joan DeMerchant and Dianne Kenney (Glazier) as
well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Anne attended Nursing School in Saint John, NB and worked many years
at Toronto General Hospital. Upon retirement, Anne and Ray returned to
New Brunswick and lived in Upper Kent for many years where they
acquired many great friends. Anne loved her Irish roots and that was
obvious in the music she chose to enjoy.
A family graveside service will be held in the Wharton Cemetery, Upper
Kent NB. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the
arrangements.
