Ann Draper Monday November 9th 2020

In Loving Memory of Ann B. Draper (nee Grant), 81 years. Peacefully, Monday, November 9th, 2020 at Health Sciences North with loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Peter Draper. Loving mother of Kathie Draper, Laurie Verreault (Bryan), Tracey Nguyen (Le), Jodie Villeneuve (Patrick), Daniel Draper (Lorrie), James Draper (Brenda), and Brent Draper. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Kristen), Cory, Kristina (Andrew), Jason (Chris), Jeffery, Mariah (Darren), Sara, Jessica (Eric), Michael (Jessica), Tri (Nguyen), Trung, Jenn (Myles), Kurtis (Melissa), Krista (Cody), Hannah, Chase, Veronica, Mallorie, and great grandchildren Giselle, Sophia, Jack, Eleanor, Asher, Emmit, Noah, Carter, Cameron, Remy, Ophelia, Zed, Nova, Astral, Tatyanna, Sophie, and Emelie. Loving daughter of Peter and Loretta (nee Sylvestre) Grant both predeceased. Dear sister of Gail Tammi (predeceased), Angus Grant (predeceased)(Madeleine), Daniel Grant (predeceased) and David Grant (predeceased). Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Ann lived in Azilda from the age of 13 years and was in the first class to graduate from Chelmsford High School (1956), and a graduate from the 3-year program at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing (1959). For 53 plus years, she was a member of the C.W.L. and the Legion Branch 553, Chelmsford. She was very proud of the 50-plus years that she was a member of Girl Guides, serving as Brown Owl for the Brownie unit and over 20 years as Sparkle for the Spark unit until she was forced to give it up quite suddenly when she became very ill. She took that setback very hard. For a few years when her children were young, she fostered sick babies; the doctor wanted these babies to live in an active household so they could be better evaluated. She worked very closely with the Vietnamese refugee family that was sponsored by the church and who are still close friends. In 1984, she received the Community Service Medal for her volunteer work. Ann loved to sew, knit, crochet, cook, read, do the Star puzzles, arts and crafts, and going to the movies and other events with the grandchildren.
