Obituary of Angelo “Chico” Canonico
Canonico: Angelo (30-year employee of General Motors Canada)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelo Domenico Canonico on Wednesday December 9th, 2020 at the age of 62.
Angelo will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Marisa of 34 years, sons Daniel and Andrew (Brittany) his Grandchildren Ella, Karen, and Livy. He is survived by his father Mariano. and sister Antonette (aka Franca), and Sandra (Kevin). Born in Oshawa on February 6th, 1958, and predeceased by his mother Ottorina, sister Assunta (Gaetano) Bruni. Angelo will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and others that loved him.
Angelo (aka Chico) was enjoying retired life with admiration and love for his family, he also had a love for music, especially Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath). He will be remembered for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
A celebration of life will be held DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, in Oshawa (905) 440 3595.on Monday December 21st at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
