1932-2020
Angéline Richard-Maillet, 88, of Bouctouche and formerly of
Assomption, QC, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her
family at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Tuesday November
10, 2020. She was married to the late Aurèl Maillet (2018).
Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the
late Georgina (Caissie) Richard.
Angéline worked as a monitor in rehabilitation in Montreal for
approximately 24 years.
She will be sadly missed by her five children; Gisèle Maillet
Bordeleau (Michel) of Bouctouche Bay, Gilles of Epiphanie, QC, Claude
of Vernon, BC, Jean-Guy (Chantal) of Maskinongé, QC and Daniel of
Bouctouche, her six grandchildren; Mandy, Guylaine, Jamie,
Marie-Claude, Alexandre and Eric as well as several great
grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Janita Maillet
(Yvon) of Bouctouche, her two brothers; Gerald (Antoinette) and
Georges (Yvonne) of Rogersville, as well as several nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters; Lucienne (2007), Rita (2016) and
two brothers; Méderic (1974) and Eugène (2018).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private visitation at Maillet Funeral
Home and a private funeral Mass at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic
Church, Bouctouche will be held at a later date. Interment will be in
the parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
