It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Angela Grandy of Burin Bay Arm, formerly of Garnish, announces her passing. Angela passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, at the age of 61. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sister, Carol Ann Lake of Burin; nephew Kirk Lake (Lenore) of Burin; great nephew Tyler and great niece Brittany; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Angela was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Maurina Grandy; brother-in-law Keith Lake; nephew Kevin Lake.
The Grandy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Burin on Friday, January 1st, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. As per COVID 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Please note that there is no food permitted in the building.
A Chapel Funeral Service will take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Burin on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at 2pm. Interment to follow at Garnish United Church Cemetery. Please add your name to the Funeral Service list during visitation or call 709-891-1800 if you plan to attend.
