Obituary
Andrew “Andy” Kozak of Benito, Manitoba, passed away in the Benito Personal Care Home on December 1st, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
Andy was born in Ukraine on January 1st, 1930 to Andrew Sr. and Ksenia Kozak. His family traveled to Canada in 1939 and lived out West in Lloydminster until 1944 when they moved to Durban, Manitoba.
Andy married Iona on August 19, 1972 in the Benito United Church, Benito, Manitoba.
Left to mourn Andy’s passing: his daughter Kathy Kozak-Hill (Dana); step-children Guy Gamberg (Mary Ann), Amy Gamberg (Steve Baker), Brian Gamberg (Kathy), Todd Gamberg (Carolyn Wells), and); nieces Millie Androney and Rose-Marie Schaak (Rick); 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Andy was predeceased by; his lovely wife Iona; his father Andrew Kozak Sr.; mother Ksenia Kozak; father-in-law Jack Belton; mother-in-law Ollie Belton; brother John Kozak and sister-in-law Anne Kozak.
As per Andy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial service will be held at a later date.
If friends so desire, memorial donations’ in Andy’s memory may be made to the
Swan Valley Health Facilities Foundation (Benito Personal Care Home), Box 1450, Swan River, MB R0L 1Z0.
