André T. LeBlanc
1945 ~ 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of André T. LeBlanc, 74, loving husband of 49
years to Linda (Léger) LeBlanc announces his passing which occurred on Sunday,
February 2nd, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital. Born on May 3rd, 1945 in Moncton, NB,
he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Anna (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Along with his wife, André will be lovingly remembered by his three sons: Joey, Marc
of Shediac Bridge and Luc (Mélanie) of Dieppe; his sweet granddaughter, Coralie; his
sisters: Bernice (Delphis) Bourque of London, ON., Doris (late Léo) LeBlanc of
Riverview and Andréa (Edward) LeBlanc of Barachois; one brother, Paul (Nicole) of Saint-
Thomas; one sister-in-law, Helen Léger (Wendall White) of Bayfield, NS; as well as
many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister,
Sophie (Sid) Neill.
A career lineman, André loved life and all that came with it: music, playing cards and
darts, bowling and pool shooting, driving his mustang, boating, camping, seafood and
homemade cooking, time spent at the camp but most of all, good time with his family
and friends. He was a member of the Grande-Digue Hunting and Fishing Club and the
Club d’âge d’or de Grande-Digue. His maverick spirit would not let the obstacles in his
life get the best of him as he so courageously dealt with significant health issues in the
last fourteen years.
Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Co-operative in Shediac Bridge on Sunday,
February 9, 2020, from 1pm until time of the Celebration of his Life at Passage Chapel at 4pm.
Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation, The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
