AMOS Shirley – Chipman NB 2020

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother – Shirley (Fillmore) Amos on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Born in Thomson, N.S. on March 13, 1938 she was very devoted to her job as a L.P.N. in Minto, NB along with being a foot care provider to many seniors. Shirley was also a proud 50 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 78.
Shirley is survived by her husband Otto, daughter Tammy (Stewart), son Brent (Eden’s Retirement Villa), step-sons, Rodney (Verna) and Randy (Ginette); step-daughter Anna Dale (Danny); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Eugene (Eleanor) and sister Brenda (Joe).
Predeceased by her mother Myra Fillmore, brother Donald, Son Barry and Step-granddaughter, Richelle.
Funeral service will take place at the Chipman United Church on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm followed by columbarium interment at the Red Bank United Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Travis, Megan and Chris. Honorary pallbearers are Shelly Richardson, Linda Chase, Betty Parker, Linda Northrup, Myrtle Campbell and Annie Boudreau.
In memory of Shirley and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chipman United Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
