Bruce peacefully passed away
at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home.
Beloved son of the late Ambrose and Edna Trudeau
Cherished father of Jonathon, Victor, Alexandria, Julius, Jesse and Harmony.
Brother to siblings
Brenda (Vern) Wabie(both predeceased),
Urban (Marina predeceased) Mejaki,
Theodore (predeceased), Neil (predeceased),
Boniface, Wilfred (Marie), George, Craig (Fay)
and special sister to Monica Mejaki.
Special Godfather to Joseph Mejaki,
Zachaeriah Williams-Trudeau and Daniel Mejaki
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Throughout his years Bruce was an avid goalie,
first starting out on the pond near the family home, some knew him as “The Chosen One” which he took great pride in the name. He played for various hockey teams in the community of Wiikwemkoong
He worked for Jerry Twain as a tree planter which they developed a strong friendship that lasted throughout the years. He also went on to Apple Picking and Pruning in Thornbury. In his latter years he moved into the logging industry which he loved.
Bruce enjoyed attending Pow Wows
whether it was to sing or set up to be a vendor.
