Alvin Arsenault
1940-2020
Alvin Arsenault, 80, of Foyer Pauline, Bouctouche, passed away
peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent,
on Thursday December 24, 2020. He was married to the late Alice
(Comeau) Arsenault. Born in Saint-Maurice, he was the son of the late
Antoine and the late Clara (Cormier) Arsenault.
Alvin was the groundskeeper for the Bouctouche Golf Club for a number
of years.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Thérèse LeBlanc of
Moncton, his grandchildren; Lucie Melanson (Jacques), Claude Allain
(Amy), several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He
also leaves to mourn his sister, Jeannette Nowlan (late Jacques), his
brother, Léo-Paul Arsenault (Huberte), both of Bouctouche and
several nieces and nephews.
Alvin was predeceased by his sister Aldéa and his brother
André.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic a private funeral mass will be held at
the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday December 30,
2020 at 11:00am.
In Alvin’s memory a donation can be made to the Lions Sick
Children’s fund.
Special thank you to the staff of the Foyer Pauline for the excellent
care provided to Alvin during his stay with them.
