Riverview, NB – Alva Wilcox, 91, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on October 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Norman and late Lottie Hicks (born Wilbur).
With safe passage on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020, Alva Illeen Wilcox has made her journey to heaven where she is reunited with her predeceased husband, Rev. Walter C. Wilcox. She leaves behind six siblings, Lorna (Charles), Lennie (Ronald), Herbert (Fielda), Phyllis (Bud), Otis (Faye) and Sheila (Daryl); three stepchildren, Sharon, Stephen and Valerie; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Lutes Mountain Church of the Nazarene, of which she was a charter member, (2 Briggs Cross Rd, Lutes Mountain, NB, E1G 2X8) on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020, from 10:30am until time of the Funeral Service in the Church at 11:30am.
Thank you to all for excellent friendship and care throughout Alva’s life. She has left us as she lived with us – in quiet dignity.
