It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alphie Daniel Martell at his home on the night of November 11th, 2020. Born in Rockdale, Nova Scotia on September 10th, 1945, he lived most of his life in L’Ardoise. He was the son of Henry William Martell and Alice May Martell (Berthier).
Alphie is survived by his partner of over thirty years, Cecilia Ann Longaphy; daughter, Christina Mae Martell; son, Stuart Martell; brothers, Charles, Wilfred and Victor; sisters, Mary (Harnish), and Margaret (Sampson).
He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Martell; his brothers, Jerry, Harbie, Richard and Walter; and his sisters, Blanche, Annie, Martha, and Bernice.
Cremation has taken place. There is currently no funeral service at this point in time. A funeral will be scheduled at a later time. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Bernard St., Port Hawkesbury.
