Obituary
Allister Roger McPherson, age 34, unexpectedly passed away on July 22nd 2020. He was born November 19, 1985 in Scarborough, Ontario to Luther Bertram King and Sharon McPherson. Despite a shaky adolescence, Allister rose to overcome many challenges and brightened the lives of all who met him. He was a hard worker and family oriented man whose goals were to make people smile and to defend the unseen.
Favoritely known as Big Al among his colleagues, he would be the first to offer his aid, wanted or not, to anyone who he saw in need. An epic music lover and producer, he saw, heard, and lived life through his passion for music. You would often hear him coming before seeing him, blasting his favourites, bass thumping. Allister loved to try new things, to travel, and to live life to the fullest. He saw things in a unique way that made others’ horizons expand into unknown territory. His smile, laugh, and soul were infectious and you couldn’t help but smile while in his presence. He was a guiding light for many during difficult times.
A big soul in a small package, Allister loved conversation; I’d dare say a good debate, good food, his pup, his wife, family, and friends. He is preceded in life by his late father and survived by his wife Tenyka, his mother Sharon, his step father, beloved brother Teddy, multiple siblings, and extended family members too numerous to count. Allister McPherson was loved, loved to love, and gone far too soon.
