He was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, skidooing, cutting wood and going to his cabin. His bright smile, kind spirit, and his infectious, heartfelt laughter was so inviting and welcoming to all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and 3D WMRH, and to Dr. Smallwood and Dr. Lafferty whose compassion, kindness, and exemplary care to our Dad and our family went above and beyond. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Frank’s wonderful and full life will be held at a later date.
Fly high Frank, you have earned your wings.
“When I get where I am going
On the far side of the sky,
The first thing that I’m going to do
Is spread my wings and fly.
When I get where I am going
There’ll only be happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
I will leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
When I get where I am going
Don’t cry for me down here”
