Predeceased by his wife Jean Mosher (1985); his parents Max Mosher (1978) and Ida Mosher (1979), and his sister Ivy Mosher (1962). He leaves with fond, warm and loving memories his children; Glenda Greenwood (Barrie), Judi & Gary Trickett (Atlanta), Greg Mosher (Clarenville), and Brian Mosher (Trepassey); his grandchildren Gina Trickett (Brian New, Atlanta), Mark Trickett (Jenny Insixiengmay, San Diego), Felicity Mitchell (Kyle Mitchell, Barrie), Ashley Lambert (Adam Lambert, Clarenville) and Zachary Mosher (Clarenville); his great grand children London and Liberty Mitchell and Franklin New; long time friend Marian Roberts (St. John’s); siblings Valda Morgan, Edna Brake (Jim Taylor), Marie Noel (Jim), Lorraine Noel (Bax), Bob (Cora), Max (Joy), Shirley Cave (Bob), Olga Butt (Roger), Roy (Marilyn), Austin, Dawn King, and Denise Roberts (Barry); a large circle of nieces and nephews; long time and good friends Alex Park and Sam Park. Frank worked for Canadian National Railway in Corner Brook and St. John’s until he retired. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, sharing good meals, drink, and stories. He was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, skidooing, cutting wood and going to his cabin. His bright smile, kind spirit, and his infectious, heartfelt laughter was so inviting and welcoming to all who knew him. Special thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and 3D WMRH, and to Dr. Smallwood and Dr. Lafferty whose compassion, kindness, and exemplary care to our Dad and our family went above and beyond. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Frank’s wonderful and full life will be held at a later date.
Fly high Frank, you have earned your wings.
“When I get where I am going
On the far side of the sky,
The first thing that I’m going to do
Is spread my wings and fly.
When I get where I am going
There’ll only be happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
I will leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
When I get where I am going
Don’t cry for me down here”
(Lyrics by Brad Paisley)
