Obituary of Allan George Purvis
Peacefully entered into, rest surrounded by his family, at their home in Brockville on Thursday May 14th, 2020. Al Purvis of Brockville aged 77 years. Beloved husband of Gladys (Hunt) Purvis. Loving father of Tina King (Neil Cummings), Terry Latimer (Rick Wartman), Tony Purvis (Marie), Tammy Purvis (Clint Thompson) and Pamela Blanchard (Kevin). Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Alisha, Crystal, Nicole, Nicholas, Nathan, Cassandra, Justin, Jamie, Lillian, Mitchel, Justin, Lindsay and Taylor; and 17 great grandchildren. Dear son of the late John and Olga (Wilson) Purvis; and brother of Harry and Bill Purvis, Nancy Webster, Diane Purvis and the late Wilson and Frank Purvis, Jackie Montgomery, Janet Mickey and Mary Grace Blenkarn. Also missed by several nieces and nephews.
In compliance with current Health and Public Safety Directives, there will not be a public Celebration of Al’s Life at this time. Interment will at take place at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Al, donations to the Centennial Road Church or the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
