Obituary
We grieve the loss of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Allan Voth, who passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Anne (nee Loewen) of Portage la Prairie, MB, children Coleen (John) Hoeppner of Sidney, MB, Sheila (Mike) Babi of Winnipeg, MB, Debby Voth of Selkirk, MB, Rita Voth of Portage la Prairie, MB, Richard Voth of New Westminster, BC and Kelly Voth of Portage la Prairie, MB, grandchildren Crystal, Erin, Lisa, Curtis, Justynna, Tina Haleigh and Logan, as well as four great-grandchildren.
Allan resided in Meadow Lake, SK until 1976, when he moved the family to Portage la Prairie, where he lived until the time of his passing. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his spare time, and in his later years, he enjoyed curling, both on the ice and on TV.
A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., led by Pastor Chris Kehler.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Allan may be made to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 in honour of his great-granddaughter.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
