Alice Louise Lambiase August 23 1918 to April 6 2020

Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on April 6th at age 101, Alice Louise Lambiase nee Rowe. She is predeceased by her parents George and Phoebe Rowe, her husband Tom Lambiase, and brothers Edward and Francis Rowe. She leaves to mourn her niece Peggy Corradi (Ralph) in New York, nephew Bill Lambiase (Rose) in Texas, Heather Pushie in Montreal, Michael Dewling in St. John’s and many good friends.
Louise lived and worked in New York for many years and returned to St. John’s after the death of her husband. She was a strong, independent person who loved to travel, explore and collect. Like her brothers, she was very active in the Anglican Cathedral in St. John’s and she delighted in both embroidery and looking after the flower arrangements. She was fascinated by many things and her enthusiasm was contagious. Louise was one-of-a-kind and she will be dearly missed.
The family wishes to thank the kind and compassionate staff of Pleasant View Towers for their exceptional care of Louise these past few years.
Due to the current public health circumstances, no visitation or service will take place. Louise will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Tom at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Memorial donations in Louise’s memory may be made to the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.
