Obituary of Alexander John Edward Kohlman
Alexander “Alex” John Edward Kohlman was born and raised on a farm north-west of Fusilier, Saskatchewan on March 22, 1935 to Adam and Mary (nee Zieger) Kohlman.
Alex married Eleanor Reiter on August 7, 1956 and together they raised eight children.
Sadly, Alex passed away on January 25, 2020 with his family by his side at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 84 years.
Alex will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor; children, Lorne (Linda), Arlene (Don) Hollman, Janet (Dan) Fisher, James (Frances), Leonard (Colleen), Glenn (Tammy), Edwin (Leslie), Linden (Jennifer); twenty-three grandchildren; eighteen great-grand children; brother, Gabriel (Loretta) and brother-in-laws, Don Smith and Gary O’Keefe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Alex was predeceased by his parents, Adam and Mary; infant daughter, Deborah Ann; grandson, Quinton Fisher; brother, August; sisters, Katherine (Leo) Kessler, Caroline (August) Sieben, Annie (Mike) Stang, Christina Smith and Elsie O’Keefe.
