Suddenly on Wednesday July 22, 2020, Alex Van Den Bossche passed away at the age of 90 years at his farm residence near Bruxelles, MB
He will be sadly missed by his sister Adrienne (Marcel ) De Meuleneire of Baldur MB, his brother Raymond Van Den Bossche of Holland MB as well as numerous nephews, nieces and their families.
Alex was predeceased by his parents Maurice & Helen (nee De Vlieger), brother Jules, sisters Rachel (Camille) De Smet, Lorette (Louis) Devos, sister-in-law Agnes Van Den Bossche and by nephews Dennis Van Den Bossche and Jim De Smet.
Alex was a quiet man who was blessed with a natural wit and a sharp mind. He enjoyed telling stories about people and events he had experienced in his long life. A retired farmer, he was always interested in the crops his nephews were planting. Alex loved trees and nature, especially the doe & fawns that shared his yard with him.
A Celebration of Alex’s life will be held on Monday July 27, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro MB, with Pastor Harry Friesen officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Gerard Parish Cemetery, Bruxelles MB.
Attendance to the service is restricted to 50 invited family members & guests due to Covid-19. However, friends wishing to sign the memorial register may call the funeral home at 204-827-2480 & we will insert your name. Condolences may also be sent by visiting www.willmorchapel.com.
