UCHACZ – it is with great sadness the family of Alex Uchacz announce his passing on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Ituna Pioneer Lodge.
Alex was born to Steve and Helen (nee Halashewski) on April 11, 1934. Alex was an employee of Wappel Construction for many years as a heavy equipment operator.
Alex was predeceased by his wife Olga (nee Yaholnitsky): parents Steve and Helen: brothers Raymond, Harry, Donald and Peter; brother-in-law Mark Yaholnitsky.
Alex will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Lyle of Yorkton, Sk; brothers Leo of Woodstock, On; Larry (Eleanor) of Guernsey, Sk; sisters-in-law Shirley Uchacz of Ingersoll, On; Jane Uchacz of Strathmore, Ab; Christine Uchacz of Woodstock, On; brother-in-law Richard Yaholnitsky of Ituna, Sk and sister-in-law Morna Yaholnitsky of B.C; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Ituna Pioneer Lodge for the excellent care of Alex during his stay at the Lodge.
Honoring Alex’s wishes, there will be no funeral service at this time.
