Obituary of Alex Aloysius
On Sunday, July 26, 2020 Alex Aloysius, loving husband, father of two children, brother and friend suddenly passed away at the age of 64. Alex is the son of late Joseph and Rani Aloysius. Originally from Sri Lanka, Alex and his family relocated to Canada in 1999. Living in Toronto from 1999-2004, then Halifax from 2004-2017 and lastly settlling in Oshawa, Ontario. Alex lived a full life with his wife, daughters, family and friends. He found his hope in Christ living daily with this joy. Alex loved riding his Harley and spent many days on the road. Alex is survived by his wife, Jeyaranee (Rasiah), his daughters Sara Rebona and Naomi Nirubina. Also, by his loving siblings and their families; brothers Stanislaus, Charles, Suresh, his late brother Lawrence and by his sisters Fasma Amalthas and Mala Juliannes. Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, July 31st from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm. A Servie to Celebrate Alex’s life will be held in the De Stefano Chapel on Saturday, August 1st at 1:00pm. In memory of Alex, donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission (Halifax) BN:816097067RR0001 www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/991 or to St. Michael’s College Batticaloa www.facebook.com/groups/battimichaels/Send donations to the Basketball Development of College Fund.
