Albert Bruce
George, Jr.– 51, Truro, passed away on Tuesday, September 8,
2020, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in
Antigonish, he was a son of Albert George, Sr., Truro, and the late
Theresa Delaney.
Along with his
father, Albert is survived by his siblings, Kevin George, Guysborough
County; Donald (Noreen) George, Calgary, Alberta; Robert
“Bob” George, Marshville; Ronald George (Laura Sulley),
Tatamagouche; Wanda George (Chris Salsman), Grand Pré;
Elaine (John) Fraser, Truro; Mario George (Juliana Julian), Afton,
Antigonish County; Brian George, Truro; Jacqueline “Jackie”
George (Craig Kaiser), Marshville; many aunts, uncles, nieces and
nephews. Along with his mother, he was predeceased by his brother,
Barry George.
Arrangements
have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young
Street, Truro, where Albert’s family will receive friends
from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020. (Please
use the front doors of the funeral home, wear face masks and practice
physical distancing.) Private funeral
service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020.
Live webcast of the funeral service will be available
on this website beginning at 10:55 a.m., Thursday; select “Video
of Funeral” icon on Albert’s obituary page on the
funeral home website. Interment will be held at a later date in
Guysborough County. If so desired, donations to a charity of choice
