Obituary of AJ BARKER
BARKER, Albert James (AJ)- It is with sadness the family announces the passing of AJ due to a motorcycle accident on Friday September 18, 2020 of Waterford at the age of 54. Loved husband of Linda (Yaremy). Loving father of Mack Barker, Nicole Barker (and Joshua Harrington), and “a son from different parents”, Tylor Crowhurst. Proud grandpa of Athena Harrington. Cherished son of James Barker, Shirley and Bill Smith and son-in-law of Walter (and the late Rosie) Yaremy. Dear brother of Ken Barker (and Sheila), Dawn Barker (Dan) and brother-in-law of Allan Yaremy (and Sandy Lubrick). AJ will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. AJ was a kind and giving man, to him friends became family. AJ also appreciated Allan and Sandy for hosting many parties for the kids and family. Family and friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford on Friday September 25, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. At the family’s request casual attire please. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday September 26, 2020 at Waterford Greenwood Cemetery at 11am. Rev. Eleanor Emmott officiating. Following Covid-19 funeral guidelines, booking visitation appointments may be made by calling 519-443-5332 or through our website at www.thompsonmottfuneralhome.com. If you wish to book through our website please state the time you wish to attend in the notes column. Masks are required as well as social distancing.
