Agnes Bernadette Pearo, born June 1, 1947 in White Point, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020, surrounded by the love of her family and immeasurable faith in God. Agnes was the daughter of the late Effie Kate and John Joseph Rambeau of White Point.
Agnes is survived by her husband of 51 years Melvin (Dewey) Pearo, her daughters Jenny Lynn (Jerome), Joy (Ashraf), and one precious grand-daughter Laila, three sisters, Violet (Murdock) Burton, Marlene (Vincent Briand), and Jean (Terry ) Hogan, sister-in-law Wanda (Bruce Noble) and Uncle Lloyd (Joyce) Greek, several nieces and nephews and her fur baby Geisha.
Besides her parents, Agnes was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Nellie and Melvin Pearo Sr., Alder Point.
There will be no visitation. A mass to celebrate Agnes’ life will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 2 pm in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. Jim Oliver officiating. Burial to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Sydney.
