ORSEN, Agnes
June 18, 1941 – February 24, 2020
Mrs. Agnes Orsen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on February 24, 2020. A Celebration of Agnes’ Life Tea will be held at the Hanley Sporting Grounds (northeast of Hanley) on Saturday, February 29, from 1pm to 4pm. Private family interment to be held at a later date. Agnes was born on the farm in the Allan Hills to Olga and Louis Dengler. In 1964 she married Lester Orsen and they resided on the farm in the Hanley area. Agnes loved all family activities. Her passion for life allowed her to enjoy numerous activities such as: dancing, gardening, bingo, curling, visiting casinos, card games, baking and any other community events. Survived by her loving husband Lester; sons Kelvin (Cathy) and Gary; grandchildren Brittany, Matthew, Tawny (Matt), Courtney and Ryan; great grandchildren Kilian and Freyja; sister Marlene (Jim); and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, five brothers, one sister and many other special people in her life. For those so wishing, donations may be made in lieu of flowers, to the Cancer Centre in Saskatoon or the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
