Agnes Comeau 1930-2020

Mrs. Agnes (Guitard) Comeau, wife of Marcel Comeau of Robertville, passed away Saturday May 2nd, 2020 at the Villa Sormany in Robertville at the age of 89.
Born in Belledune, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Tarzille Chamberland.
Besides her husband of 72 years, Marcel, she is survived by her daughters: Pauline Comeau (Raymond Pitre) of Bathurst and Jacqueline Comeau (Gerry Connors) of Robertville and sons: Yvon of Nicholas Denys, James of Beresford, André (Liliane) of Robertville, Robert (Marc LeBlanc) of Moncton and Louis (Linda Comeau) Oromocto and Bathurst.
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her children: Léo-Paul, Dora, Michel, Martina, Marcel Jr., sister, Martina, brothers: Philippe, Antoine and grandson, François.
Agnes was a caring, generous woman with a contagious laugh who was always there for her family and friends. She was particularly proud of her 30 years of service as employee/manager of the laundry department of the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. Many of her former employees would often express their appreciation to Anges.
The family would like to thank the personnel of the Villa Sormany for the dedication, care and love given to Agnes during the past two years.
Due to the existing pandemic, a service will be held at a later date to be announced.
Donations in memory of Agnes may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
