Obituary
On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, Joseph Adrien Ovila Eduard Benoit, endearingly known as Tony and even more endearingly known as Papa Tony, breathed his last breath at the age of 84 after a brave battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Tony was a man who always had a story to tell and could hold court in any room. He was a dreamer and enjoyed sharing his ideas about what life would be like when he won the jackpot. He valued good living and was always ready for a party particularly if it included good food, good wine and great stories.
Tony was predeceased by his loving parents, Josephat Benoit and Jeannette Brisson; siblings, Florian, Jean Paul, Jacques, Denise, Raymond & Denis as well as his mother-in-law, Gertrude Vlieg, father in law, Peter Vlieg and brothers-in-law Raymond Paquette and Ray Paquette.
Tony is survived by his two children, Jenny (& Marshall) and Adrian (& Breanne) and his grandchildren, Grayden, Harris, Nola, Nixon, Ellis & Taylor along with several nieces, nephews and other supportive family members and lifelong friends. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
