Adele Bick
(née Tatelman)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Adele Bick announces her passing on Monday, December 21, 2020, due to complications resulting from COVID-19. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Marcy and Jeffrey Katz, Carole and Bernard Fried, Stewart and Samantha Bick. Beaming with pride for her grandchildren as “Nanny” of Falyn and Lisa Katz, Erin and Eric Axler; Lauren Fried, Sydnee Fried, Alexandra and Francis Genet; and Hayden Bick. Most recently overjoyed with her great-grandchildren, Hailey Axler, Paityn Katz and James Genet. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses; Helen and Sam Rosenberg; Annie Tatelman, Harold and Judy Tatelman of blessed memory. Adele will be sadly mourned by her nieces, Shelley Rosenberg and Jill Gerstenfeld, her nephew, Alan Rosenberg, by her extended family and many friends. Heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Jenny Wu, and the compassionate and dedicated nurses of the Jewish General Hospital.
Always with a smile on her face, Adele was known for her joie de vivre, and outgoing ways. A gracious, kind, and loving woman, she warmed the hearts of all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Adele loved to travel, enjoying visits to Hawaii, Zurich, Paris, California and even Toronto. Affectionately, she told her children and grandchildren “a heart feels a heart,” and our hearts will continue to feel hers each and every day.
A private graveside service will be held. Donations in Adele’s memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Adele Bick 2020..
