May 31, 1954, born in the Misecordia hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, raised in Bowsman Manitoba leaves to mourn his wife Sophie Boulanger and his two sons Lesley Boulanger, his partner Ila and his son James. Adam Cooke Jr and his wife Shayleen and their two children Adam 3rd and Bella. Adam Sr’s parents were Mary and the late John Cook. His brothers and sisters include late James, late Amanda and late Christopher, Bernadette and Ernest Sumner, Kenneth and Hannah Cook, Brenda and Henry Sanderson, Gerald and Deanna Cook, Peter Cook, Annette Cook, and Scott Cook. Adam had numerous nieces and nephews, his respected elder and uncle James Chartrand and partner Verna, Sister in laws, his late mother in law and late father in law.
Adam lived life fully and beautifully, his Anishinaabe way of life was close to his heart, he loved his family immensely both immediate and distant. He enjoyed the lands, ceremonies, and respected the Anishinaabe way of living and enjoyed exercising, family gatherings. His work and passion were social work, he helped many families with his caring heart. Adam enjoyed roofing with his sons and nephews, His love for his wife, mother, sons, and grandchildren were his greatest moments.
