Peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Achille Felix Larocque of Lancaster; age 98 years. Beloved husband of Antoinette Larocque (née Sauvé) and previously the late Madeleine Larocque (née Martineau). Loving father of Jean-Marc Larocque (Chantal Levac), Lise-Anne Larocque (Raymond Sicard), Josée Larocque (Martin Bolduc), Carole Larocque (René Dicaire); step-father of Raymond Dicaire (Colette Alarie), Rene Dicaire (Carole Larocque), Paul Dicaire (Francine Croteau), late Jean Dicaire (Lucille Marcoux), Claudette Dicaire (Claude Valade) and Anne Dicaire (Martial Brunet). Proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean-Lucien (Berthe Martineau), Bruno (Louise Vanasse), Emelda Reid, Laurande Simm, Gisele Welch (Maurice). Predeceased by three brothers: Euclide, Réal, Emmanuel; three sisters: Dorine Theoret, Rita Freund, Florence Dumouchel; and by his parents John Larocque and Elizabeth Poirier. In keeping with the physical distancing requirements, attendance during visitation will be controlled. Face masks are required at both the visitation and the Mass. Visitation will be held at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 10 to 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial with controlled attendance will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Achille a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
