1938-2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ada MAXINE
Saunders at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 30, 2020. The
widow of W. John Saunders, she was born in Wicklow, NB on July 11,
1938 to the late J. MacCready (Mac) and Ada (Kearney) Olmstead.
Maxine is survived by her children, Steven (Glenda), Stewart (Lori)
and Patricia (Jeff); four grandchildren, Tracy (Denny), Andrew,
Justin, Kristen (Craig); seven great grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt,
Denver, Danyelle, Dawson, Kyrah and Jayden; two sisters, Barb and Ruth
along with many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John;
an infant son Stanley and several sisters and brothers and
sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Maxine was a fiercely independent woman of faith dedicated to her
family, always involved with her community and friends and had a very
generous heart. She will be greatly missed by her family, extended
family and her many friends.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation. A private service will
take place on August 1, 2020. Interment at Prince William Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Maxine, the family
has suggested the Prince William Cemetery.
