Jackie Lynch passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 88. Jackie is survived by his brothers Lloyd Lynch (Edmonton AB) and Albert Lynch (Halifax NS). Jackie was predeceased by brothers Charlie, Russell, Arnold, and Ross and sister Alma Hewlett. Jackie was born on August 24, 1931 in Stony Plain, AB to Cecil and Eva Lynch. He came to Kelowna, BC in 1966 to live with his sister Alma (Edwin) Hewlett and family. He enjoyed life on the apple orchard and was always anxious to help with chores, in any way that he could. Jackie will be remembered for the smile and handshake that he had for everyone he met. Jackie moved to Spring Valley Care Home in 2018 when Alma was no longer able to care for him. Jackie will be missed by his brothers, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held in Kelowna BC at a later date, when circumstances permit.
