François (Frank) Brochu was a long-time resident of the Smoky / Peace River Country. Loving the country life on his horse and cattle ranch, he lived North East of Donnelly. Frank has transitioned to a new beyond riding and wrangling cattle on April 19, 2020 at the age of 86. Born and raised in Girouxville, Frank’s love and knowledge for horses came from his father-while-he often said his laughter for life and sense of honor was from his mom… Franks life always revolved around the ranch, family, friends, horses, cattle and a good shot of white rum!
Frank is survived by his children who all share in his love for life: sons Victor, Clem, Roger, Pierre and Léo; daughter Chéri McPhillamey (née Brochu).
During this unprecedented time there be no service…a small private celebration of life and interment will be arranged once health and safety protocols are returned to normal.
