Obituary of Verna Squires
Verna Virtue Warr-Squires
It is with great sadness that the family of Verna Virtue Warr-Squires announce her passing at Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and Labrador on April 17, 2020 at that age of 72. Verna was predeceased by her first husband Pastor Sterling Warr, her parents Gilbert and Julia Pinksen and her brother Aylmer Pinksen.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Wayne Squires, her children Dean (Charmaine) and Roxanne, her grandchildren Ryan Warr and James Callahan, her step-children Bryan (Karen), Deanne (Vernon), Megan (Matthew), and her grand step-children (Noah, Caleb, Kyle, Matthew and Callie). Also left to mourn are her siblings; Doris Harris, Viola Shea, Inez Tulk (Doug), Ivor, Eugene, Eric (Mabel) and Betty Dunne (Dave) as well as her extended family, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Verna devoted her life to serving God, being a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend. It is through her commitment to God that she touched many lives and friends around the world. Verna will be remembered for her dedication to God and to family, for her compassion and infectious smile.
Interment will take place at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale, Newfoundland And Labrador.   1. Roxanne, so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing; so sad you are unable to celebrate her life at this time. I’m sure you and James have many wonderful memories to share. That’s what you need to get you through this difficult time.
    As soon as this isolation period is over we have to get together. Thinking of you and looking forward to seeing you.
