Pearl Olive Hearn
Oct. 29, 1930 – April 17, 2020
Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother, Pearl Olive Hearn (Mom, Mudder, Nan, Nanny Hearn, Pearlie), aged 89 years.
Predeceased by her husband Mike Hearn; daughter Gail Hearn; parents William and Mary Whiteway and a number of other family members.
Leaving to mourn daughters Linda Hearn, Bev Putt, Terry Conway, Diane Putt and Lori Whitten;
sons Mike, Chris, Randy, Barry, Don, Robin, Ken, Larry, Keith and their families which also includes
81 Special grandchildren and great-grandchildren who have been blessed to call her Nanny Hearn; her sisters Jean Newman and Lilly Aylward; as well as a large circle of family members and friends.
The number of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that were blessed to have the love of such an incredible woman is enormous.
Pearls family consisted of much more then blood relatives she accepted children into her family with open arms, and embraced extended family.
And Then Pearl herself was accepted into an extended family of loving caregivers at Pleasant View Towers who cared for Pearlie with so much love.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the healthcare staff at Pleasant View Towers for caring for their Mom with such compassion and love and for supporting the family in the same way. We will be forever grateful you really are Mom’s Angels
Due to the unprecedented times of Covid 19 there will be no visitation at this time.
Cremation will take place and a celebration of Pearl’s life will take place at a later date.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NL.
