On Friday, April 17, 2020, Glenda began her journey to the spirit world. Glenda was predeceased by her parents, Donald Bigknife and Madeline Sugar; paternal grandparents, Frances and Maggie Bigknife (nee Buffalo); maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Sugar (nee Toto)
Glenda is survived by her children, Cailin (Darius), Kyle, Connor (Kayla) and Carson (Sasha); grandchildren Ariana, Alaya and Araya; brother Stan (Gwen); sisters Sharon, Theresa (Clayton), Judy, Donna (Lonnie), Farrah; as well as close relatives from the Bigknife, Sugar, Poitras and Toto families and many nieces and nephews.
A Traditional Wake will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the residence of Cailin Sugar, Piapot First Nation.
OUT OF RESPECT THEY ASK THOSE ATTENDING THE WAKE ADHERE TO THE COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE GATHERING WILL BE CONTROLLED IN CAILIN’S HOME AND PLEASE AVOID GATHERING AS A GROUP OUTSIDE. OBSERVE FROM YOUR VEHICLE AND MAKE YOUR WAY IN AS PEOPLE FILTER OUT OF THE HOUSE AND BACK TO THEIR VEHICLES. YOUR CONSIDERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
A private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
