Walter Frankland Morse
1941-2020
On April 16, 2020 Walter Frankland Morse of Grand Harbour,
Grand Manan, NB passed away peacefully at the Grand Manan Nursing
Home.
Born in Seal Cove, Grand Manan August 27, 1941. He
owned Morse’s (Auto) Body Shop with the love of his life Carolyn and
took great pride in his work. He was happiest at home with a
good wood fire, his dogs and cats, spending time in his yard and in
nature, listening to some good country music.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Thomas) Morse, his son
Stephen (Ernestine) Morse and daughter Paulette (Jamie) Ryan both of
Fredericton. His grandchildren Ashley, Chelsey, Sarie, Lisa
Marie, Devin and Chase Great grandchildren Tanner, Wesley, Adrian,
Cameron and Kaydence. Brother Ronald Mylo Morse and sister
Sharon (Richard) Green, brother in law Kenny (Dianne) Thomas and Rick
(Sheila) Thomas. He was predeceased by his parents William
and Esther (Ingersoll) Morse – Benson, sister in law Marion
(Mylo) Morse and brother in law Stewart Thomas.
A huge thank you to all those who cared for Walter over the 5
years he resided at the Grand Manan Nursing Home. Your
kindness will never be forgotten!
Walter loved animals and was much involved with the cat
rescue group on Grand Manan. In his honour, please consider
supporting your local animal shelter or cat rescue
group.
