DA SILVA, Maria (nee da Silva)
80 years, passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital- Met Campus, on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Beloved wife of the the late Antonio da Silva (April 9, 2020). Dear father of Teresa (Mike) Mahesh, Isabel (John) Yancan, Tony (Arlene) da Silva, Jorge da Silva, Cristina (Patrick) McNeilly and Joe (Tim) da Silva. Loving Papa of Nishan and Nevin Mahesh, Kyle and Corey Yancan, Fabio and Suse da Silva, Mark and Julia Hamilton, Daniel, Katrina and Hannah McNeilly, and loving great grandpa to Eliana and Gavin Mahesh. Cherished daughter of the late Jose Gomes and Isolina da Silva (nee Duarte). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and family all over the world. Antonio and Maria came from Portugal in 1977 with their children and settled in Sault Ste. Marie. A private family service will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive: “The new maximum number of people who can be at a funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer. This pertains to the entire funeral home.”
