George Mulherin
1955-2020
It is with sadness we are announcing the death of
George Sebastian Mulherin, at the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor) on
April 9, 2020 at the age of 64 years. Born in 1955,
he was the first born child of Lloyd Mulherin & Elisabeth
Mulherin (Helminger). He is preceded by his father Lloyd and
baby sister Janice Paradis (Butch). He is remembered by his
mother Elisabeth, his two siblings, Cathy Hurley (Phillip)
and Tommy Mulherin (Nancy), his daughter Amy Reagon (Jonathan) and son
Brian Mulherin (Renée). He was very proud of his
children, however his 5 grandchildren were his pride and joy: Emily,
Carter, Gavin, Preston and Gabrielle.
All his life he was surrounded by faithful friends.
George was the type of friend you wanted to be around, he was always
the life of the party. He had a great sense of humour and
easily made meaningful relationships with anyone. Boy did he
love a good joke, especially if it embarrassed you.
George might not have had the use of his legs due to
his MS but he ran with the wolves, often leading the pack.
He had a chance to travel during some of his healthy years and he
looked back at his time in British Columbia and Merida, Mexico as some
of his favourite places he lived. Home to him was always
Grand Falls and the family would like to thank the Villa des Chutes
for taking such great care of him during his end of life.
Your tenderness was felt by us all.
At his request, there is no funeral but George did want you all
to take some time to remember him in your own way. If you
have tears, let them be tears of joy. If you are sad, know
he is resting peacefully. If you are angry, he asks for your
forgiveness. If you are laughing, he is laughing with
you. Until we meet again my friends and family, I loved you
all.

George was a wonderful person! I remember him fondly as the happy funny boy next door! He always had a joke , a smile, a positive attitude. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
