Emma Ziebart January 1st 2020

Emma Ziebart died peacefully on the 1st of January 2020 at the age of 89. She is lovingly remembered by Joseph, her husband of 66 years. Emma leaves behind her children, Lynn (Dwain) Fauser and Mark (Derilee) Ziebart; grandchildren Evan, Rachel, Nicole and Rebecca Fauser, and Joseph and Jacob Ziebart. Emma is survived by her sisters, Lydia Jan, Frances Cameron, Marie (Leo) Giesenger; brothers in-law, Jerry (Jean) Ziebart and Bill (Linda) Ziebart; and sister-in-law, Florence Ziebart.
Emma grew up with nine brothers and sisters on the family farm near Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. She later moved to Medicine Hat where she graduated from St. Theresa’s Academy in 1948. Joe and Emma were married at St Patrick’s Church on a beautiful fall day in 1953.
Emma, a talented seamstress, created wonderful Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and gifted cook whose meals frequently brought her family together. She will be remembered by her family, friends and coworkers as fun-loving and cheerful with a kind word for everyone.
