– The death occurred suddenly at home, on Friday, April 3, 2020, of
Wendell Cameron, of Summerside, aged 66 years. Wendell is survived by
his partner of 20
years André Cormier;
his children Walden, Janalee (Mike MacPherson); their mother and
friend Sheila; her mother Marion Allen; and his adored
“granddaughter” Addy. Survived by his brothers and sisters,
Audrey MacDougall, Willena Stewart, Preston Cameron (Mary), Bill
Cameron (Anne Turner), Darlene Marshall (Gary Cudmore), Gail Langlois
(Andre), Newton Farrow (Erin); sisters-in-law, Brenda Cameron-Waddell
(Gordon), Heather Cameron, Donna Cameron, Suzanne Cormier;
brothers-in-law, Raymond, Maurice (Roberte) Cormier; numerous nephews
and nieces. Wendell was predeceased by his mother and father, Will and
Margaret (Reeves) Cameron; sister, Elaine Cameron; brothers, Neil,
Wayne, and Ian Cameron; his father and mother-in-law Armand and
Marguerite (Belliveau) Cormier; brothers-in-law, Bruce MacDougall,
Wilfred Stewart, and Guy Cormier. Resting at Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside. Completed arrangements to be announced later. If so
desired, donations in Wendell’s memory to the Trinity United
Church, Summerside or Canada Suicide Prevention Service would be
greatly appreciated.

  1. Andre, we were so shocked & saddened to learn of Wendell’s passing. As you know, I had the chance to work with him last year, and truly enjoyed the experience. He was a unique individual who will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences.
