Kathleen Margaret “Kay” Beaton
1923-2020
Kathleen M. “Kay” Beaton passed away peacefully in
her sleep at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at
the age of 96. Born in Campbellton, NB on October 13, 1923 she was the
daughter of late Henry Patrick and Mary Jane (Cooke)
Doyle.
Kathleen was a long time member of St. Bernard’s
Roman Catholic Church. She played an active role with the Catholic
Women’s League and the Kidney Foundation of Canada for
numerous years.
She is survived by her sister, Joan (Bob) Swenson of Ottawa,
ON; son, Allan (Judy) of Sydney, NS; daughter, Mary of Moncton, NB;
granddaughters,Tanya of Moncton, Paige of Calgary and Laura of
Summerside.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving
husband, Bernard; brothers, John, Gerard, Cecil, Edgar; sister, Mary
and one infant child Charlotte Anne.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Bernrd’s Roman Catholic
Church, 43 Botsford St. Moncton, NB on Tuesday, August 25th 2020 at
10am.
Donations in Kathleen’s memory made to the Kidney Foundation
of Canada or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated
by the family.
