Rita B. Gilliss
1932 – 2020
Rita Bertie Gilliss wife of the late Lloyd Gilliss of Napan, passed away at the Losier Hall, Shannex on Thursday evening, April 2, 2020 at the age of 88.
Born in Little Branch, NB, on March 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ward and Stella K. (Williston) Adams. She was a homemaker.
Rita is survived by five daughters: Estelle of Miramichi, Myrna (Bliss) of Napan, Coral (Rick) of Bay du Vin, Karlene (Julia) of Napan and Trina of Miramichi; five sons: Kelvin of Fredericton, Dwayne (Theresa) of Russellville, Clinton (Corrine) of Eel Ground, Morris (Heather) of AB and Byron (Sally) of Napan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Lloyd, sons Elwood and Lynne.
With regards to the COVID–19 pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery later in the spring.
