Donna Parker
March 07, 1954 – March 28, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna Ann Parker announce her passing.
Donna leaves behind her Daughter Michelle (Kevin), son Robert (Tina), two grandchildren Miriah and Tanner Roulston, brothers Robert (Anita), Garry (Evelynn), Gordon and her forever friends Evelynn and Alicia Olson.
Donna is predeceased by her husband Robert, parents Don and Adena Ames.
Donna worked at the Dryden Regional Hospital at the early age of sixteen as a dietary aid, retiring with forty years of service under her belt.
If Donna was not seen doting over her grandchildren, in her spare time she loved to collect wedding pictures from different times and cultures. her wedding pictures went as far back to the 1800’s. she was always so fascinated on how the wedding dress was a forever changing style and how beautiful and unique the dress would look on a beautiful bride.
During Donna’s retirement she volunteered her time at The Salvation Army and a couple of years with the Second Chance pet Network.
Although it was cancer that ended her life, it’s unfortunate that depression played a great role in Donna’s life.
We hope now that she is happy, healthy and forever free of the guilt that she was never good enough.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
If friends desire donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada through the Stevens Funeral Homes P.O. Box 412, Dryden ON P8N 2Z1. Condolences may be posted at www.stevensfuneralhomes.ca
