It is with deep sorrow that the family of Alfred “Freddie” McCormack announce his peaceful passing which occurred at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was 88 years old and formerly of Bear River, PE.
Predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen (nee McInnis). He was a loving father to Debbie Palmer (Richard), Craig (Anne) and Shelly McCormack. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jeff Palmer (Twila), Mark Palmer (Rachael), Jennifer Bradley (Richard), Beth Ashe (Jason), Eric (Paige) and Kris McCormack (Maddie) and nine great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Dorothy “Dot” MacCaull and sisters-in-law Helen Bradley and Vera McInnis.
Predeceased by his parents Alfred and (Ursella) McCormack, brothers Jack (Nora), Ernie and sisters Gertie Peters (Reggie), Margaret Sheehan (Charlie), Laura Roberts (Hensil), Mary Gallant (Eugene), Florrie Gallant (Elmer) and Tillie Gallant (Edmond).
There will be no visitation or service of remembrance at this time. A funeral mass and interment will take place at St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, PE at a later date. If so desired, donations in memory of Freddie can be made to the Souris Hospital or the Colville Manor.
