In her final hours she was surrounded by her loved ones who held her tight and told her they loved her. She was fortunate enough to spend the last few months in the company of all her friends and family. Proud mother to Raina Jane Shortreed and Joseph Kip Shortreed. She absolutely loved living in Squamish, moving to Squamish being the best decision she made in her life (followed quickly by having her two kids). Sports and bridge enthusiast, involved with the community, and following her love for people become a registered nurse of 20 years at Hilltop House and 5 Years at Squamish General. Predeceased by her father Walter, she leaves behind, for a long and happy life, her siblings Richard, wife Carol (Tyler, Adam and Brent).
