John Joseph Brydges
1938 ~ 2020
Kitchener, ON – John Joseph Brydges, 81, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, ON, on Monday, March 23, 2020.
Born on Shediac Island, NB, he was the son of the late Carl and the late Catherine Brydges (born Fougère).
John is survived by his children, Cathy Brydges (Gilles Richard), Danny Brydges (Susan) and Janice Brydges (Nathalie Cormier); his grandchildren, Justin, Stephane, Bradley, Melanie, Christian; his great grandchildren, Madison and Logan; his step-brother, Rene Clements (Diane).
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Andrew; two half-brothers, Maxime and Paul.
John’s life was not an easy one but he did things his own way. He was always on the move, living at his camp and driving all around the Maritimes and Ontario. He had a generous heart and helped many people down on their luck. His trade was painting towers, but his passions were cars, animals, cooking and seafood. His family hopes he finds peace and eternal life.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to or to a charity of your choice.
The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
